Reconstruct Option

Question

If I use 'Reconstruct' option to create a Raid 1 configuration ,by adding an additional drive and enabling the Perc controller, will the existing Drive OS and data be retained or will this change require  a rebuild of the drive. (ie reload of OS and programs etc)   The current single drive is not in any Raid configuration.

If I remember correctly, this will have to be built agian. You can only use the reconstruct if you currently have have a RAID container set up.
