Replace backplane system error
I am trying to swap out a bad back plane in a PE 2450, I took it from one of our other PE 2450's and I have two other ones as well and I'm receiving an error during startup "backplane system error"
What might be causing this and where might I find documentation on this server and specifically replacing backplanes?
Thanks, 2fold

Hi,
This error is caused by improper cabling, or a poor connection (or defective) SCSI Backplane Daughtercard.
The Dell website has complete documentation and technical specifications for every computer we have ever sold. Go to support.dell.com, enter the Service Tag Number, the site will build a custom page for that machine.
