Specify Raid array in Boot Order in PowerEdge R630 - Only seeing 1 PERC hard-disk in RAID

Hello

I have a R630 I want to move the OS from current 300GB SAS (in RAID 1) to new 500GB SSD  (in RAID 1).

I am thinking easiest way is to clone from the 300GB SAS to 500GB SSD using clonezilla, and change the boot order to use the 500GB SSD as first boot device. Note that both are in their own RAID 1.

My RAID controller is H730 Mini.

Before I move forward I wanted to find out how to change the boot order - so I rebooted the server and went to the BIOS Setting -> Boot Settings

However, I only see below - only the RAID controller as C: -  I dont get to pick which RAID array to use for boot.

How do I do that? or does it check each array and see what boots up? Which is kind of silly...

No, in the BIOS, you specify the PERC as the boot device, but you change the order of PERC-managed VD's in the PERC itself, on the CTRL MGMT page.

Thanks!!!

I was looking all over in the iDRAC, LifeCycle Controller, BIOS etc... but I had to hit CTRL+R during reboot to get into the PERC...

Thanks again!

thank you @theflash1932, this was exactly what I was looking for. I have a 720XD with the 2 SFF drives in the back, but they weren't booting. Thanks a bunch.
