SSD Compatibility
I am looking into upgrating my PowerEdge R710 with this SSD: SanDisk Optimus Eco 1.6TB TXA2E2 2.5" Enterprise SAS SSD 6Gbps. My RAID control card is the: E2K-UPC-61-(B). Would that work?

There is only 1 Sandisk SSD that was validated for this platform, part number 8C38W. You may be able to get your drive to work, but it's not one that has been validated to do so.
Is that the PERC 6i? If so, I would temper your expectations. I've seen that card have issues with unvalidated SSDs. The fact that we did have a Sandisk drive validated is a good sign, though.
