Virtual disk failed, no os boot
Hi,
I have a R210 II, S100 raid controller. 2x HDD930 gb rad 1. virtual disk.
First the raid controller (ctrl-R) said virtual drive degrated.
I swapped 1 hdd for new, set as hot spare and started rebuild in omsa
The rebuild failed.
I swapped the hdd again for a new one, again the rebuild failed.
Now the os wont boot anymore (server 2008 cant'auto repair) , CTRL-R to the controller says virtual disk failed.
any suggestions how to rebuild / restore ?

AJCNL,
Would you confirm if you have a complete backup of the data, if not then you may want to consider taking to a data recovery service, as there is a chance of data loss.
A Couple questions, such as are there are any errors being displayed, and is the server is up to date on BIOS, iDrac, Lifecycle Controller, as well as the S100? Also, would you confirm if you are seeing any errors as well, and if so what are they?
Let me know what you see.
