What is PERC Controller? Instructive

Some have a definition about " what is PERC Controller? " , somewhat more instructive about this.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that "PERC" stands for PowerEdge RAID Controller. It's just a RAID card that ships specifically with PowerEdge systems.
