Altiris and Linux boot disk

I have been redirected here by mombodog - if this is still not the correct location for this type of query then hopefully an admin will step in and do the honours :smileyhappy:

Setup: Altiris Deployment Solution 6.5 SP1, Linux PXE boot disk, Deployment Solution for Dell Servers 2.0 SP1

Server: PE6850

We have a working scenario on one server but the configuration now needs to be transferred to another Deployment server (DS) however when I try to recreate the linux boot disk on this new DS the behaviour at boot is different despite the configuration looking the same.  There is not much that can be specified when creating the boot disk so I believe that the problem lies somewhere in the Dell toolkit element.

The differences that I have noted are how the hardware is discovered.  There are several NICs in the server and in the working setup they are discovered one by one and listed accordingly.  In the new, non working environment, only one NIC is found (the first Broadcom).  Secondly the IPMI element is treated differently.

In the working world:

(I have highlighted the difference in red)

I realise that not everyone uses linux and/or Altiris but has anyone any suggestions as to what could be the problem?  This is on the same server so it is not a question of differing configurations of hardware.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
