It might not have an Exchange Backup Agent, but are you sure you actually require such functionality?
If you have a small installation that uses the POP3 and SMTP connectors to interact with external e-mail servers, you could well schedule your backup to run at 3am in the morning - unmount your mail store and backup that folder to tape then remount it afterwards using the pre and post job commands.
One thing for sure is that BackupExec, regardless of what edition it is; has a lot more updates than you'd expect NTBackup to have.
