Backup system with Ghost or another=impossible

My problem is very simple. I can't make a system backup (image of one partition) with Norton Ghost or another. It does not work.
Each time, the software can't read the first hard drive (system) or don't regonize it.

For example, with Norton Ghost 8.2 disk boot, it say "Internal error 36000" when I select the system hard drive, and all symantec fix for this error does not work.

I suspect the dell's partition (partition contain diagnostic utilities), because if I select the second hard drive, it's work.

I tried with few software : Paragon Drive Backup, Acronis True Image, Drive image, Norton Ghost and it's always the same thing.

Maybe you know this problem and you can fix it?
Or you know which software I can use? (dell software?)
