Cannot format RAID

I have a 2450 with a 3/Si RAID controller. I have updated the firmware on the controller to 2951. I have updated the systems BIOS to A09 and all the other controllers. When I try to install windows 2003 Standard Edition, it goes all the way through the process to formating and once it is at 100% I get the message " Windows in unable to format your drive..." The message suggests that if it is scsi drives then check to make sure they are terminated.
I have created the container 5 or more times. I have 4 9GB hard drives in it. I have made an eight gig partition and a full partition and get the same message. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

It ended up being the drives that I was using. They were Westerndigital 9.1GB drives. I changed the drives and the system formated and loaded just fine.
