Cannot Install Windows 2008 Server on T310

When I try to install Windows Server 2008 or Windows 7 Pro on my T310 I get an error to Load Drivers: "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing."

Which driver do I need?  I have located this driver for the S100 PERC:

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=43GND

Is this the correct driver?

Also, how do I install it as it downloads as an .exe file.  When I right-click to try to extract there is no option to extract files (only compress, etc.)?

Thank you.  This is driving me nuts!

You can extract the contents using the /s /e=location switches for the file, or you can use the "hard drive" (ZPE) version of the file.

Are you trying to install 2008x86 or 2008x64 or 2008R2?

Which RAID controller are you using for your hard drives?

Hi jsmithy123,

You could also choose to attempt install of Win2008 Server on Dell PowerEdge T310 using "Systems Build and Update Utility, v2.4"

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=78KH7

Thanks

Vivek
