Configuring Multiple Network Adapters
I have T710 with 4 network adapters running Server 2K8 R2. Server roles are AD DS, DNS Server, File Services, and Print Services. I'm using an Adtran T1 Router for the DCHP server with reseverd IP's for the printers and T710 Network adapters. The problem I'm am having is the clients are having diffuculty connecting to the Domain (T710) and printers. When the clients are set to obtain IPs and DNS automatically they cannot find the Domain. If I manually point the clients DNS to the server they will connect but the some of the connections are intermittent. On the server I'm pointing the DNS to the IP's on adapters 1 & 2. Shouldn't the clinents be able to obtain DNS automatically?

Don't configure the router as the DHCP server, but use Windows Server 2008 instead as the DHCP server!

This is a new network setup the router, 15 Win 7 64 clients and printers were installed first.
My router has one Ethernet connection we are planning to deploy Direct Access. I believe that Direct Access requires two Internet IPs. I would have to create two VLans on the switch one subnet for the intranet and one subnet for the internet the server would be the bridge. Two network adapters for connected to the intranet LAN and two network adapters connected to the internet.
