CVE-2022-26006 mitigation for PowerEdge R630

​Hi all,​

​ ​

​The current setup in my office is running a DELL R630 with Intel Xeon E5-2609 v3 chip.​

​I was informed that CVE-2022-26006 affected the Intel® Xeon® Processor E5 v3 Family, as outlined in Intel's security advisory(​​https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/security-center/advisory/intel-sa-00688.html​​). The recommended mitigation is to update the CPU to the latest versions provided by the system manufacturer(Dell).​

​However, Dell's Security Advisory(​​https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000205135/dsa-2022-312-dell-client-security-update-for-intel-november-2022-3-ipu-vulnerabilities​​) on the same CVE did not include R630 in the affected product.​

​Does this mean that R630 is deemed to not be affected by this vulnerability?​

yes I confirm that Dell R630 systems are not impacted.
