Disable 2nd Quadcore processor
Hi my name is Carlos, I have a PowerEdge Server 9250 running windows 2003 server with 2 QuadCore processors, i need to disable one processor in order that windows only recognizes and shows only 4 core processors instead 8 processors.
It could be possible disable on windows or is necesary to remove the processor in the server.

I would assume you're needing to do this due to having software that is licensed for only 1 processor, so another option would be to get a license that supports 2 processors.

Thanks for the answer, and yes I have that issue. So I will to remove it.
