Dell servers use embedded server management (ESM). These are sensors on your motherboard that collect data about your systems health. It is through these sensors, that both the dset utility and the Dell open manage server assistant recieves it's information about the health of your system.

If the ESM is not up to date this will cause a problem with DSET and Server Administrator not giving you all of the information regarding the health of your system.

I would recommend that at the next window of oppurtunity you update not only your systems ESM, but also the bios, and the perc controller driver and firmware.

Once you have done these updates, then unistall and reinstall the dset utility and retry the creation of the report.
