ESXi 5.5 U3e
I have not been able to find that Dell has it's own custom version of ESXi 5.5U3e, it seems that it only goes up to 5.5U3a. We have always used the Dell custom ESXi ISO, but we need to patch for critical security flaws.
Is it safe to upgrade these hypervisors and vCenter to 5.5 U3e using VMWare's version from an installed Dell custom version?

Hi,
It should work fine, the main difference is our version has Dell specific drivers, but the Vmware version should update the other files.

You can also just use VMware Update Manager and have it patch your servers.
