Firmware and Update check

This may be a really goofy question but is there a tool you can download something that checks your server for the latest firmware and server updates or something that would compare what you have to the latest firmware and server updates?  I have been trying to find which pieces of my 2650's need what and it very tedious.

I am trying to update (2) 2650's with Windows 2003 currently installed.

Any help would be great.

Thank you.

The openmanage utilities will display all the current drivers/firmware you have loaded for each piece of hardware. Just go to the downloads portion on the main dell site, enter the service tag and download the openmanage application from there. Or you could just install if from the disks that came with server, its typically on the first disk that you would use to install a system from scratch.

The Dell OpenManage Server Update Utility does exactly what you're looking for.

You insert the CD and it will show you the current version of stuff you have installed and the updated version (if available) from the repository on the CD. From there you can update firmware, drivers, and software.

You can download the Dell SUU 4.5 version here: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?fileid=145877
