Keep seeing the error cant find bootable device

Hi,

I am trying to boot my Dell R310 server with CD/DVD drive. However it does not boot and gives an error saying cant find bootable device. I went inside the BIOS settings and make sure CD/DVD is selected but still it keeps on giving the same error. I am trying to install RHEL ISO.

I tried to deploy OS by going inside the Unified server configuration and select local USB, CD/DVD and click next it gives me an error no volume available for  local repository. I configured the RAID and it shows the RAID volume as well. But it still does not boot. It says can’t find boot device. It seems I am missing something in the boot configuration.

Could you please help?

Hello

Try using F11 during boot to enter the BIOS boot manager. You should be able to manually select the boot device in that menu. If it still fails to boot from the DVD then I would suggest testing with other bootable media or test this media in another system to make sure it is not a problem with the DVD you are using.

Thanks
