Loading Issue
I have a Dell Poweredge R720. I am trying to load 2008R2. It goes through the initial transferring/loading and does it's reboot. After post, etc. it windows logo/splash screen for about a second and blue screens then reboots. It is so fast I can not read the blue screen. At this point it is in a loop. I have obviously forgotten something, but what? Thanks for any help.

I have not added any hardware. Raid 5. It does the initial load and reboot. It blue screens in the first windows screen after reboot. I will have to check on PCI NIC cards. On that I am not sure.

If there was an existing install, you should also want to ensure that you completely remove the existing RAID and recreate it, along with deleting all old partitions.

Hi there. We'll be glad to help. Are you saying the OS installation never starts? Have you added any hardware to the original configuration, and what RAID controller are you using?
Also, if your system has any PCI NIC cards installed you may want to remove them for the OS installation. But beside that, you also want ensure to run a full diagnostic to check all hardware.

Server is new out of box.

Did you find any new info? Where you able to run the hardware diags successfully through through the LCC? If there is an issue, you may want to ensure all components are re-seated.
