Need Windows web server 2008
Not R2. I have the license key just not the media. Called Dell and they do not have any solution unless I renew support. There is a Recovery Partition, I just can not find how to use it. I have downloaded what I thought was the correct version of Server 2008 from microsoft but it is not accepting the key, stating that it was an incorrect version.

2008 is not available for purchase or replacement. It is end of sales.
Even if you renewed support we would not be able to send you 2008 media. 2008R2 SP1 is the oldest Microsoft server OS that we have media available for.

The recovery partition can't be used to restore/reinstall the OS.
What did you download from Microsoft?
