First you need to find out what RAID controller your using (perc4/Di, perc3, etc)
 
Then download the coresponding driver from here:
 
Put the driver on a floppy, press F6 during the install, then press "S" when prompted, select the correct RAID controller and load the driver from the floppy.
 
If you downloaded the correct driver and selected the correct RAID controller then the installation should see the disk just fine.

Hello there,
 
Thanks for your swift reply. The controller in this machine is perci4, will try that one and come back to you if problem resolved. Another point is - does windows 2003 storage server will support 3TB as a one single volume ?

Hi there, In fact my RAID Controller is PERC 5/i, downloaded driver from the dell web but it only provides windows 2003 server for 32 bit. there must be for Windows 2003 server 64bit Perc 5/i. 8x500GB SATA 3.5" Hard drivers (thats what specified in the paper with regard to Hard disk - provided by the dell) Can anyone help on this regard ? that would be simply great. There are drivers available, it sounds like your having trouble locating them.
