rebuilding Raid 1 Perc s110

Hello;
I got this R420 and Im performing tests and understanding the machine (I have very little experience with servers and this is my first Dell server), installed 2 120gb SSD disks (port 02 and 03) in it and configured a RAID 1 with them. Then, I removed one of the drives in order to see how the warning's system of this machine works and how to rebuild a RAID after a disk replacement .

I tried to follow this tutorial here:

https://www.dell.com/support/article/pt-br/sln290972/perc-s100-s110-s300-how-to-replace-a-failed-hard-drive-on-a-software-raid?lang=en

Everything goes fine until the "We'll move this disk to backup (Hotspare)" step. I dont have that option in my RAID configuration system. All I have is a "Manage Hot Spare(s)" option and its not selectable, it wrote in blue and when I rest the cursor over it, the message the Bios shows up is "NOT SELECTABLE: No disks available for hot spare selection".

What do I do now?

Did you put the disk you pulled back into the system? You can't assign a hot-spare if one is not available (i.e. you only have one disk in the server).

If you did put the second disk in and Manage Hot Spares is still not available: does it show both of your disks? If so, what is the status of each one?

Yes, I put it back into the system. Inside the RAID BIOS the 2 disks are displayed. At first the reinserted one was showing as a virtual disk "non-raid". As I deleted this "non-raid" virtual disk, it stopped showing in the "virtual disk" window. Both disks still shows up in the "physical disks" window. I can try to take a picture if you wish.

Just happened across this post that I didn't see ... did you get to the bottom of it?
