Your server either has 2 physical processors or 1 physical processor with Hyperthreading enabled. Either way, Windows sees 2 processors, so every 1 second of real time means 2 seconds of processor time. If you had 4 processors it would count 4 seconds of idle time per real second.

You are correct - 1 processor with Hyperthreading. So I guess this is normal behavior then! Good to know... thanks for your help!
