Windows backup has quit working.

We have a poweredge 300 serverver that was running Windows 2000 with the latest service pack.  This server also has an attached PowerVault DLT1 tape drive.  We purchaded a more powerful PowerEdge 2800 server a few months ago running Windows Server 2003.  I wanted to upgrade the PowerEdge 300 to Windows Server 2003.  I downloaded the latest BIOS update for the machine and installed it.  I then upgraded the machine to Windows Server 2003  and updated it to service pack 1.  The Windows backup no longer works.  The following error message is displayed.

 

The device reported an error on a request to MS_UpdateNtmsOmidInfo.

Error reported: 11.

 

I used device manager to try to update the tape device drivers.  The update went ok.  But the above error still continues.
