Windows server 2003 installation issue on Poweredgeedge R510
Hi,
I am installing Windows server 2003 R2 SP2 32 bit on R510 server.its giving me the error the harddisk is not present .....................How ever previously i installed successfully windows server 2008 R2 sp1 on same server.Again i installed server 2008 it has been installed without any error.
Can you please help me out.why its giving error on Windows server 2003.

You will need the controller drivers to present at the F6 prompt. They are native on the Server 2008 R2 DVD, but not on 2003. Download this DVD ISO to help load the controller drivers for your server and to load the OS: http://downloads.dell.com/sysman/cdu_1.6_core_173_A01.iso

NOTE: after booting to this iso, and during the setup process, look for a check box that says something like Install Server Administrator, make sure that box is not checked......
