How to safely remove devs from RedHat 5.0 (Clustered) running powerpath 5.x

Could someone give me a hand.. .??

Every time i try to remove devices on Red Hat 5.0 (running powerpath 5.x), i get a crash
The storage is a cx3-80 and there are no issues on array

Does anyone know.. about some EMC document that explains how to proceed when you need to remove luns from RedHot Host (Cluster) running PP

The most weird fact is ... when i remove the same devs with native Red Hat Multipath i have no issues
