PP 5.1.0 cannot see any devices

Hi,
Can somebody help me. On hpux 11.11 connected to DMX1000 by 4 FCs
I can not see any device after cmd powermt display dev=all I get message
Device(s) not found. My license is valid. So my server is running over one path.

Best regards OLI

    1. Can the OS see the devices? Can you paste up the output of ioscan -fnkC disk
    2. Did you run powermt config

    Thanks

    Hi,

ioscan is OK, It seems server is running over path defined in lvm..
I have second server, same HW, same OS and there is all OK..
File powermt.custom is more smaller on wrong server.

so from ioscan -fnC disk ..you can see the HW path , but when you run powermt config and powermt display ..nothing displays ? Do you have inq or syminq on the box ?

    Hi Oli,

Do you have any other path fail-over software configured?
Did you just install PowerPath? What version?

From the ioscan output are all paths (presume you want to see 4 paths?) displayed? Are all devices in a CLAIMED state?
