In my case we decided to connect PowerStore directly to the storage and avoid ethernet switch

I have chosen option Advertise DDC. In this case Host is on the same subnet as storage network.

In this scenario what would be my preferred option Advertise DDC or Manual configuration of CDC with IP address considering that Host and storage network reside on the same subnet

What would be benefit of one or the other

So basically there are no pros and cons using either method and no use case scenario. We can just decide which way we can go
