Archive Python 06408 backup failed with following error message

I have a Dell PowerEdge 2600.  It has an internal Archive Python 06408 tape drive.  We are using ARCserve backup software.  The past few backups have failed with the following error message "Unable to write to media. (EC=UNIT ATTENTION:SCSI BUS Reset, drive power lost, or media chang)".

Also, I am not sure if this is related, but one of our RAID drives failed a few weeks ago, and the drive itself was physically ok, which makes me think I may have some kind of SCSI related problem.

 Any ideas?

Tape drive and disk drives should not be mixed. Make sure you do not have the drive hanging off the PERC.
If you do this is a recipe for disaster. Preferable to have separate SCSI adapter for tapes e.g. Adaptec 2940UW or 29160
depending on server.
Some people like to split the SCSI bus (RAID on one SCSI on another) and use chl B for tapes however this is not a good idea really.
