DAVG high latancy on ME5 with VMware 7.0
Hello,
I am using ME5 (24 * 2.4 SAS drive with adapt raid setup)
Setup All drive on Single Pool A and Single Disk group A with 44 TB Usable space.
Created 10 TB Volume and attached with All VM host
I am getting high latency on DAVG while run IO meter.
Disk Size : 20 GB
#Outstanding I/Os : 16 per target
Transfer Request size : 4 Kib
100% Random
Read50% /Write50%
Ram Up Time : 10
Run time : 10 Minute
Here i am sending you result here ( In red value)
Let me know if i can reduce my DAVG latency

Hello thanks for choosing Dell. I am afraid the DAvg() function is out of our scope. Sorry I can't be of help this time but we can wait around to see what other users could offer.

Hello Charis,
Thanks for replying,
As I am doing fresh installation and I have done by best practices based on VMware. but still I am getting latency on it. Also, we have updated the latest firmware of HDD and san.
IF have any key points to reduce the latency than let me know so I can verify also.

I have posted here to get some ideas to resolve the latency only as Dell is saying that this is a faster permanence device than ME4 So I would like to get some idea how could be and how to reduce the latency only.
I have set up ME5 from best practice documentation and got the latency. So if anyone has any idea to reduce the latency please do support.
