Ejecting a stucked tape from Archive Python 06408 DDS4 drive

I'm trying to eject a tape that is stuck in my DDS4 python 06408 drive. In Computer management, it shows that the drive is empty though there is actually a tape in the drive. Can someone help?

Try an emergeny eject. Reboot the server and when it posts hold in the eject button on the tape drive for about 20 secs. If it doesn't eject phone Dell tech.

Hi

I have tried the above suggestion - but unfortunately it didn't work. In my case the tape in question is a cleaning tape. The Media light on the drive is lit continuously - which I think means everything's OK and the drive knows there is a tape loaded. However, on the comupter and retrospect software, even if I re-scan the drives it reads 'no media' every time. Any further help would be greatly appreciated...
