Hello iwilkinson,

Do you just have the PERC H700 in your system or do you also have a PERC H800 that has an MD1200 attached to it? Also if you look in OMSA do you have an option to test the battery and if you run it does it error out on testing the battery?

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I'm having the exact same issue.  Only we have a PowerEdge R710 with a PERC H800 with an MD1200 attached to it.  Open Manage Server Administrator Version 8.5.0 running on Server 2012 Standard says the Battery State is Degraded, Learn State is Due.  But When try to Start a Learn Cycle via Open Manage Server Administrator, nothing happens when I hit the Execute Button.  All of the Firmware and everything else is up to date.  I don't know what else to try.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello DickTator,

Normally when you replace the battery on a PERC card the battery will come with almost no charge on it. For this we recommend that you let the battery charge in the system for 24hours before you check it to make sure that it is working.

When you replaced the battery did you power down your NX3000 or no? If you didn’t then you will need to reboot your NX3000 as it will not notice that the battery has been changed till then.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
