extension disques PERC H710 mini
Bonjour,
sur un serveur PowerVault NX3200 équipé de carte RAID PERC H710 mini configurée avec 6 disques physiques SATA en "font" RAID-5 et 2 disques physiques SAS en "back" en RAID -1.
sur le front du serveur il reste 6 emplacements SATA libres, ma question est-ce possible d'ajouter 6 disques SATA supplémentaires afin de créer un autre virtuel disque en RAID-5?
La documentation de la carte RAID PERC710 indique que la carte peut gérer jusqu'à 32 disques...

the probleme is fixed.
my new drives wasn't correctly pluged on SATA interface, due to probleme with Hot Swap Tray.

Hello Haicham,
You can add another 6 drives to your NX3200 and create another virtual disk. Your NX3200 supports up to 12 drives for storage.

Hi Sam,
thank you for feed-back
I have already added the disks, but none is detected by the raid controller, no activity leds on, end no foreign disc on raid configuration detected, the discs are correctly connected en SATA interfaces.
should i add them one by one ?

Hello Haicham,
Have you rebooted your NX3200 and gone in the controller bios to see if the drives show? The drives that you inserted are they Dell drives? If they are Dell drives can you provide me with the DP/N: that is on the drives?

Hello Sam,
yes the drives are DELL parts (DP / N / OOJWVN), yes the server was rebooted but drives still not detected on bios (device seeting -> Raid controller PERC H710).
the open manage don't show them too.
