Hyper-V R2 and MD3000 Setup issues

Hi,

We're looking to install Hyper-V R2 on 2x R710's both of which are connected to an MD3000. We are also looking to cluster these to take advantage of CSV's for the VM's. Is anyone aware of any documentation/best practices/how tos with regard to this set-up?

Also are there any plans to release an updated MD3000 resource CD that can be run in the Hyper-V core set-up (IE no GUI)?

We have had this configuration running using the release candidate however it seemed rather convoluted and I'm not convinced that the performance of both machines was equal. Any help/info much appreciated.

Thanks

Glen

R2 isn't supported for the MD3000 yet. The current software (ISO) won't work with it.

You can sign up to be notified about updates for the MD3000 so you'll be notified about any new updates for the MD3000 (like the newer software/iso and possibly a newer firmware to match that software).

I have Hyper-V R2 on 2x R710's connected to a MD3000 (2x HBA Cards on each R710) and have the mpio drivers installed and working correctly.
