Hi @Jacky.fei,

Are you referring to the password for service interface menu?

Could you check if the settings for Putty is according to the settings here: https://dell.to/3LWorL5

Hi @Jacky.fei,

The NVRAM battery show be located under the board. You will have to remove the 4 screws. If you could, take a picture after the board is removed.

Hi,

The battery is located inside this small container. It's underneath side of the container.

You will then need a flat headed screwdriver and ensure EXTREME CAUTION when removing the black cover to avoid damaging the motherboard of the controller. The cover should pop over with gentle force. Once removed, the battery is visible underneath (no need to remove the battery from the little chip it is enclosed in as it has been disconnected from the main board)

After having the battery removed for 30 seconds or so, please reattach it to the main board and put the black casing back on the battery as before and reinsert the four screws.

Plug the RAID Controller into the slot and attach the serial cable. Open the serial or telnet (using management IP of the controller) console using Putty and inspect the boot phase.
