MD1000 Failover

Question

I've got my Dell PowerEdge 860 connected to MD1000 and downchain connection to two additional MD1000 enclosures (unified mode). All MD1000 systems uses first EMM module, and second EMM module presents in all systems. The question is - how can I make failover solution? Is it possible to install another PERC5e controller into server and connect it to the second EMM module, so that in case of first EMM failure server will be able to work with second EMM with no connection loss?

The MD1000 doesn't support failover/redundancy.

You'd have to buy an MD3000 and 2 SAS5E adapters for in the server, and you'd need to be sure to only have SAS drives (no support for SATA drives on the MD3000 or any daisy chained MD1000 off of this MD3000).
