We have an MD1200 that was originally configured for split functionality.  One array is set up and connected to VMware 6.0 system (in use).  The second was originally planned to be used on a backup media server but an appliance was purchased with storage and now is not needed (has never been used).  I wanted to know if there is a way to daisy chain the primary and secondary controllers on the MD1200 so I can use the secondary array on my existing (and connected) VMware. I believe I cannot switch it to single mode as I will lose the data I currently have through the primary controller.  I am considering another RAID card in VMware server, but would like to avoid if possible.  Anyone have suggestions???
