The MD3000i is no longer offered and when it was offered no 3TB drives were ever sold in it.
If Dell follows it's usual methodology, I wouldn't count on 3TB drives being supported on the MD3000 series.
One note though; I've seen some of the newer 6Gb/s drives for the MD3200 being sold/used in MD3000's, so maybe when Dell adds 3TB drive offerings for the MD3200, they'll work in the MD3000. This is just an educated guess/speculation, so I wouldn't buy a whole bunch of them from Dell when you see them available; buy 1 and try it and then decide if you want to buy more of them.
Keep in mind that the MD3000 (and the MD3200 as well) only accept Dell certified drives. You can obviously buy these from Dell, but there are several other vendors that offer them as well.

There doesn't appear to be any 3TB dell cert drives right now for any Powervault series storage, So the short answer is "no". The longer term answer is maybe in the future?
PS: Go for the 2tb NL SAS, SATA drives run poorer in MD3000i's than most other sans that support them.
