MD3000i Networking with ESXi Question

Hi, it has been a long time since I had to set one up with VMware so I am wondering if anyone can point me to the best practices for networking these in ESXi 5.5. I am familiar with EqualLogic so if it is the same (create two different vkernels and assign a nic to each). Then I can do that. But if it is different and someone can let me know that would be great.

We have two dedicated nics for this SAN so I am only dealing with that.
