MD3200 controller replacement cant see the NVSRAM firmware
Hello.
i replaced a controller on MD3200.
after the replacement i see in the MDSM that the NVSRAM version is not available (on the new controller ).
i tried to sync the clock between the controllers and i get the error :
Return code: Error 1000 - Could not communicate with the storage array to complete this request.
(Both controllers are online).
Possible causes include network or connection problems, RAID controller module problems, or no power to the Host or storage array. Check these possible causes and then retry the operation.
any ideas ?

hello @tapelibraryfixer .
the issue is now resolved.
connected the 2 mgmt eth.
reinstalled the MDSM and restarted the server with the MDSM on it.
the NVSRAM version can be seen.
it seems like the MDSM didnt communicate correctly with the controllers.
now everything is fine.
thank you for the help.

hello @tapelibraryfixer .
Controller 0 mgmt is connected directly to a server
controller 1 (that was replaced) mgmt is not connected.

i think md systems want both management ports connected so it can communicate with both.
the firmware file for the NVSRAM cant be upgraded from the firmware package

hello @tapelibraryfixer
i replaced a controller before on Md3200 with one Mgmt connected and it was fine.
the issue is the controller shows online but not sure it is actually online.
the Nvsram fw shows not available and cant really sync the time.
so the replaced controller not working.
dont have a console cable as well to check the boot sequence of the controller.

@tapelibraryfixer correction on the last one.
the console cable is only connected to one of the controllers.
mgmt is not connected on both controllers.

would be better off dell replying, i dont have to deal with data so anything i may suggest may cause data loss.
fixing the preffered path may need to be done before you can fix the original issue.
