MD3200i - Active Paths Not Showing

Question

I'm configuring an MD3200i with a PowerEdge R710. PowerEdge R710 has four iSCSI NICs.Each iSCSI NIC is on a different subnet. ESXi shows all eight paths to a virtual disk are active, but only one port is showing as Active (I/O). I am under the assumption that there should be four paths that should show as Active (I/O), not just Active. Is my thinking correct or is there something I'm missing? See attached pic.

Also what I would check is to see what your multi pathing setting are set to on both the MD & ESXi as it sounds like they are not set the same.

Thank you for the link to the deployment guide.

The issue was due to multipath settings within ESXi.

I was able to reach resolution by changing from Most Recently Used to Round Robin.

Regarding your second statement, I realize there are multipathing settings on ESXi, but are there also multipathing settings on the MD?

I haven't been able to locate any multipath related setting in the PowerVault Modular Disk Storage Manager.
