MD3220 Won't pass Hyper-V clustering verification

I am attempting to migrate a server farm from XenServer to Hyper-V. I have

2 PowerEdge R620 servers directly connected to an

MD3220 array with 24 1TB drives.

Dell 6Gbps SAS HBA Cards each running 2 connections to the array (only one card per server)

The servers can see the array, MPIO seems to be working, servers are fully patched and the firmware on the array and control boards is up to date. MDSM is installed on both servers. This worked fine with Xen so I know it's possible.

The problem is that the servers will not pass cluster verification testing. I get this error every time...

"Failed while verifying removal of any Persistent Reservation on physical disk e0146bc8 at node %servername%."

None of the other disk tests run because it fails at the first test. I've found a couple of references to this error but none with a solution. Has anyone seen this before?

Hello OptimisTech5,

Did you install the MPIO drivers from the Resource DVD or did you use native MPIO drivers from microsoft?  If you didn’t install the MPIO drivers from the resource DVD, then you need to do so as native MPIO drivers will not work with your MD3220.  Here is the link to the Resource DVD. https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverId=R9G1X
