MD3820i Configuration PVCF_EXCEPTION

With you getting that error it was most likely due to the controllers syncing there firmware or settings and one of your controllers took a little longer than the other.  As long as you haven’t gotten the error again then all should be good.  If you have gotten the error again then we would need to gather a support bundle so that we can look at it to see what is causing the alerts.

Thank you for the response. The error is consistent. Any change through the MDCU results in this error when applied.

Same problem here. Anyone knowing what's causing this issue?

If you look at the major event log are you seeing this error all the time or just a single time?  Also, was there a power outage or a planned shutdown?  What is the current version of firmware that you are running on your MD3820i, & when was it last updated?

I am getting also with same problem

I deploy an MD3820i but i have a problem at the end of the wizard "Unknown Error (PVCF_EXCEPTION"

I specify, I configure the ports iscsi manually without problem.

I think the problem comes from the management network, I started the MD3820i in dhcp but when I want to pass in static I have an error

Are you seeing this error multiple times in your major event log or just a couple of times? Also, have you tried to reboot your MD3820i & see if the error is still happening after a reboot?  If you look in the major event log are there any other errors that happen around the same time that you are receiving the PVCF_ Exception?
