Ok can not do bios update via 2003 server ... needs to be xp/2000.
Installed XP on the machine via RIS and was able to flash the bios and now all is cool !

The flash util should already be on your 725 in C:\Dell\Flash Utility.
If not you could try goggling a copy of winSFI, the AMI winflash utility. It should be available somewhere on the web.
Tommo, I tried a coupld of version of the utility and get the "bios not for your system" with a08 bios file!
Unfortunatley, some one wiped the disks clean without realising what was on the box!! .. and you guessed it .. the CD's cant be found!
