PowerVault 112T, Backup Exec 9.1
I have the PowerVault 112T 1U rack unit attached to a PowerEdge 2650. When I open Backup Exec to view the drive it only shows one drive. I have one scsi cable attached from the 2650 to the 112T, with the SCSI terminator on the same device just above it as per the documentation.
Any ideas why I am only seeing one drive? Both power up and can load and unload tapes fine. I have run several backups, and based on when it is prompting me for another tape, it is only backing up to one of the tapes. This unit is brand new. I've just finished setting up a number of new devices in this rack.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim

In the back of the 112T, did you daisy chain the drives together? Is there a SCSI cable connected to the second drive?
Look at server POST and see if two drives are displayed. If only one drives shows up, than there may be a cabling problem.
Service tag?

I figured it out. Bad scsi cable between the two drives. Put in a service call, should be getting the new cable on Monday.
Thanks, Tim
