Powervault 114X Error code 7

Hello dulibarri,

When you get an error code 7 it means that there is a media issue.  So in most cases if it is a cleaning media that was inserted into the drive & produced the error then that normally means that the cleaning media is expired.  If it is a data tape then what you will need to do is to inspect the media to make sure that it is not damaged.  Also what you will want to check is to make sure that the leader pin is present on the media & not missing.
