powervault 715N
I bought this powervault to backup data from another location
The main server is located in location X, the powervault is located in Y. I need to get the data from X to Y every hour.
When I got the powervault, it came in a box whit an USB keyboard/mouse. But I can't connect to it. Turning it on, and trying to connect to https//DELL:1247 doesn't work. So I need to reinstall the software
I need a serial cable to get into the system? I also need a dell managment cd with software to open the connection
Anyone know where I can get the software / cd?
Is the powervault suitable for this job? A co located backup system ? Can the powervault do this without any 3th party software? And the main question....how?

1.Try https://dell+serialtag:1279 to get in touch with your PV715N.
2.You can do the job you need, using a DOS script(XCOPY.exe).
