PowerVault 775N

From time to time the drives dissapear, a re-boot brings them back.  When I check the event logs, the event id is 689 "PERC 3/DC Controller 1, Enclosure (Channel 1), driver/firmware communication lost.  rc = 0xAA, scsi_stat = 0xFF".  Can somebody tell me what causes this?  Thank you

The message hints that maybe a firmware/driver update could fix this. Not sure, but just reading that message makes me think that.
