PowerVault MD3200i error:Unknown error (PVCF EXCEPTION)
I am setting up a new purchased PowerVault Md3200i, installed the Powervault Modular Disk Storage Manager and run "Modular Disk Configuration Utility" then run the "Config Wizard" setup the new "array" confirm the network but when clicking the "Apply Changes" error appears:
"An error occurred during array saving: Unknown error (PVCF EXCEPTION)"
I already setup quite a few Powervault but this is my first time this error.
Hoping for a quick reply

Hello botod,
Is the MD3200i in an optimal state when you look at the Summary Tab when you receive the error? If the MD is optimal state when you get the error can I get you to pull a support bundle from the MD so that we can look at it to see why you are getting that error. I will send you a private message to where you can upload the logs so that we can review them.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi, I was wondering if this issue had been resolved. I experience exactly the same error message on a MD3820i unit when clicking "apply changes" in the MDCU. - Thanks

Hi ,
as i remember , in the config wizard put new password...that solved my problem...

Hi
I am facing the same issue. I was trying to install the host portion of the MDSM and got the same error while I was applying the changes in configuration pages.
Any help to fix this issue?

good day friend. I have the same problem, error pvcf exception dell powervault,desconozco que debo hacer, desafortunadamente no hay mayor información de este error, me ayudaria mucho si pudiera aportar alguna solucion a este problema.
