PowerVault TL4000 Error
I'm getting the following error and like to know if there is anything I can do to correct it. All the magazines ejects properly and the unit has been powered off and back on with the same error. Firmware has been upgraded from 8.6 to B.60

Hello yctsai,
The error that you are getting is an issue with on of the slots in the magazine. What you can do is to ensure that all tapes are accounted for and that there is no lose media. If all that is good then you can take one tape and use it to test all the slots manually to make sure that no slots are tight & that media moves freely out of the slots in the magazine. If you don’t want to manually test all slots then you can run the library Verify test from the Operator Panel. It is best to remove all media from the TL & the test requires one tape to complete the test. To run the test you go to the Service menuLibrary Verfiy. It will ask you to put a blank tape in the I/O slot that will be used for this test. Once the test is complete the I/O door will open again to remove the tape & then you can reload all other media.
